WELCOME TO THE MEDIA CENTRE

During 2009, the Strategy and Development Project planned and developed ACSO’s framework for the management of evaluation, research, partnerships, creation of new business and diversification of funding. This ultimately led to the establishment of the Research and Evaluation Unit, which fully formed in May 2010.

 

“We will increase our contribution to advocacy, social policy comment and evidence based research to further our aims and underpin our service delivery. To be a voice for the disenfranchised and vulnerable we will build on our recognised profile in the community services sector and take a leadership role in both public debate and discussion”

 

We focus our resources on:

• Program Evaluation: building capacity to evaluate ACSO’s programs (independent of Government contracts) demonstrating client outcomes.
• Research and Engaging Public Policy: building capacity for ACSO to engage in and influence research and public policy.
• Facilitating ACSO’s capacity to respond to unmet need, build innovation and lead best practice, further developing our programs and increasing outcomes.
