The origins of ACSO’s Board are unique and reflect the organisation’s long term work with ex-prisoners and those people involved in the Victorian criminal justice system. ACSO has maintained a strong affiliation with members of the Judiciary, often described as the ‘heart and soul’ of the Board.

Patron in Emeritus, Sister Clare McShee AM FMDM

Sister Clare joined the ACSO Council in 1986 and retired in June 2008 when she was appointed Patron in residence in recognition of her pioneering work at ACSO, in particular her work with sex offenders. Sister Clare passed away in 2014
