In 1983, ACSO commenced as a small support agency staffed by volunteers (then called The Epistle Centre; later The Victorian Offender Support Agency) for ex-prisoners who were highly disadvantaged.

We have grown over the 30 years to becme a “provider of choice” in the delivery of a range of services and programs responding to unemployment, mental illness, disability, homelessness, substance use and offending behaviour. We now deliver more than 20 programs across Victoria, to approximately 23,000 clients per annum.
