ACSO encourages research that aims to improve and inform knowledge in the areas of interest in which we work. This includes Justice, Casework, Housing, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Disability and Forensic Practice. More specifically, our strategic aims focus our research direction and efforts and are detailed in our Research Agenda.
We accept applications for research projects involving humans undertaken within ACSO or in partnership with ACSO, or using ACSO resources such as staff, clients or any information or data collected by or with ACSO. All applicants must complete the Research Application form and return it to research@acso.org.au to enable the application to be considered by our Research Committee.
If you wish to discuss your proposal prior to submitting your application, please email research@acso.org.au and we will contact you.
Please note, ACSO does not have its own Ethics Committee so all applications must have ethics approval completed by an external committee prior to us approving the research.
