Shane Hamilton is a proud Wakka Wakka and Bundjalung man with extensive experience across the public and private sectors. His leadership spans Aboriginal policy, housing, and economic development, including roles as CEO of the Aboriginal Housing Office, Director at PwC Indigenous Consulting, and co-founder of First Nations Blockchain.
Currently serving as Deputy Secretary of Aboriginal Affairs for the NSW Government, Shane works to bridge the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities through meaningful collaboration. He was recently recognised with a Meritorious Award in the King’s Birthday 2024 Honours List for his service to Aboriginal communities in NSW.
