
“My journey with ACSO has been incredible. I started in May 2019, with the opportunity to work in the Facilities team as a receptionist at the Sunshine Hub for six months. “I love being in nature, so camping is one of the things I enjoy most. Being close to the beach is even better, as I love the sound of the waves and sitting by the sea. I also enjoy going for long walks with my husband and Copo (our dog), whether it’s through the bush or near rivers. Music is part of everything I do: reading, working, cleaning the house…always with a soundtrack, jejeje. I also enjoy taking time to look after myself, and at weekends you’ll often find me at home doing a face mask or doing my nails (me time). Most importantly, I truly value spending quality time with family and friends.”
“My workday is well structured and highly organised. I plan most tasks on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semester, and annual basis, depending on the nature of the work and what needs to be scheduled (accreditations, reports, TechOne, CultureAmp, Awards, Service Recognition and much more) plus projects and continuous improvements. This approach helps me stay organised and proactive. At the same time, there is always room to support employees, including leaders. Making time to answer questions and provide assistance is a priority in my role.”
“One part I particularly love is supporting others by learning our systems and helping employees navigate them. I know systems can feel overwhelming at first, but once you understand them, they’re easy to use. Being able to guide people and show them how to do things confidently is something that truly makes me happy.”
