Associate Professor Danny Sullivan serves as a consultant psychiatrist at Forensicare, the Victorian public forensic mental health service. He has worked in community, prison and hospital services, as well as in senior management roles. In addition to his public mental health work, currently focussed on regional Victoria, he provides independent psychiatric assessments for justice-involved persons in all states, particularly involving criminal law and standards of care. He also has honorary academic appointments at the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University, where he is involved in research, teaching and publishing, including on topics of forensic disability and sexual offending. He is a Board Director on the Sentencing Advisory Council.
Danny is the Chair of ACSO’s Quality, Safety and Service Delivery Committee.
