Dr Jen Nicholls holds a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She has lived experience of the criminal justice system having experienced a short period of incarceration in 2013/2014. Since her incarceration Jen has completed a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology, an Honors Degree and her Doctorate and is currently a sessional tutor at Federation University. Jen began her journey with ACSO on our Lived Experience Advisory Panel in 2021 and is passionate about the health of women in the criminal justice system and human rights.
Jen is also a member of ACSO’s Quality, Safety and Service Delivery Committee.
